Diversity and inclusivity are hot topics and for a good reason. Teaching children to have cultural awareness from a very early age is the best way forward to crack those stereotypes and help prevent future racism and bullying. Culture and diversity are not widely touched on in those early years at preschool. Colour and culture make each of us special and enable us to offer unique gifts and opportunities to groups we are part of. At the same time, colour and culture help children learn about each other and the world. Every culture, every nationality, every single person sees the world differently. Similarly, every culture, nationality, and person has different knowledge, perspectives, and points of view. When all of these different views are shared, miracles can happen.
